Engagement
Wohoo! You’re engaged! Let’s create some stunning portraits to remember this season of your life together! Engagement portraits are often shared on save the dates, wedding websites, social media, on the walls of your home and displayed on your wedding day.
“Nate and Alex are absolutely incredible photographers and we’re beyond thankful that we chose them to do our engagement session and wedding. They’re kind, professional, and phenomenal artists!”

Frequently Asked Questions
What Should We Wear?

Our two hour portrait sessions are enough time for two different outfit options. We recommend one casual outfit and another fancier outfit. We love vibrant colored clothing. If you are feeling unsure, we suggest featuring only one article of clothing with a pattern or prints that could clash.
How do we decide on our session locations?

Knowing more about you and your story can help us plan an engagement session that is specifically tailored to your relationship, personality, and interests! We send out a questionnaire before every session to get to know our couples a little better. This helps us to incorporate meaningful locations, themes, and activities that can allow your engagement portraits to tell your love story. Feel free to also browse our collection of blogs with a variety of engagement session locations and let us know your favorites!

The best timing for portrait sessions is 2 hours prior to sunset and we typically offer portrait sessions on weekdays or some select Sundays. If you’re planning to send out Save the Dates, we recommend scheduling your session at least one month before you plan to send out Save the Dates.

Yes, we know it can be a bit intimidating whenever a photographer points a camera in your direction. Not sure what to do? Don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of guidance and suggestions throughout the session!

Let’s face it – weather can be… unpredictable. We will keep an eye out for the forecast on the day of your session. If it seems as though weather will play a factor in your session, we will communicate the options with you. If we need to reschedule your session for another date, there is no fee for rescheduling your session due to weather.
