Emily & Maurilio’s Briscoe manor houston Wedding

Emily and Maurilio’s Briscoe Manor wedding was the perfect blend of romance, tradition, and personal touches that celebrated their incredible journey together. Although they first met in middle school, life took them in different directions—until 16 years later, when Emily sent Maurilio a simple “Happy Birthday!” message on social media that rekindled their connection. What followed was a beautiful long-distance love story, with Emily in Texas and Maurilio in Brazil. Despite the miles and many tearful goodbyes, their love continued to grow.

On one of the last “normal” weekends of 2020, family and friends flew in from around the world to celebrate Emily and Maurilio at a romantic Briscoe Manor Houston wedding! With its limestone architecture and gorgeous grounds, Briscoe Manor is a beautiful spot for a Houston wedding! After a romantic ceremony in the Briscoe Chapel, family and friends gathered in the main hall to feast and celebrate the night away (of course with Cowboy hats and flags representing Texas and Brazil)! We loved all of the personal details Emily and Mauri included to represent their relationship – from personalized candies imprinted with “Em & M” to the mouth-watering Brigadeiros (a traditional Brazilian dessert served at weddings). Congrats Emily and Maurilio!
