Crystal Ballroom Houston Wedding
Kelly and Mitchell met their freshman year of college through a mutual friend! After navigating a long distance relationship, we loved being able to capture their Crystal Ballroom Houston Wedding.
Kelly and Mitchell included some of our favorite historic locations in the heart of Houston for their wedding day! First Presbyterian Church, where Kelly and Mitchell said their vows, stands as a testament to Houston’s historic legacy and it sets the perfect tone for a classic wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests ventured to The Crystal Ballroom at The Rice Hotel a venue steeped in Houston history. Originally built in 1913 as part of the Rice Hotel, this majestic ballroom exudes old-world glamour with its intricate wood detailing and antique touches. Plus, we love how central it is in downtown Houston, allowing us to capture the downtown atmosphere from the balcony!
While Kelly and Mitchell wanted their wedding to be timeless and elegant, they also brought the party for the reception! With music from The Royal Dukes, and one of of the best Aggie Fight Songs we’ve seen, it was so much fun to capture family and friends come together to celebrate!
